Our Instructors
Who are our instructors?
All of our instructors are experienced tutors with prior educational experience. In addition to certified teachers, we also match graduate students, professors, and professionals with relevant experience.
How do we know our tutors are good instructors?
Before our instructors work with students, we assess and screen them to ensure that not only do they know the subject matter, but also that they can teach it. For example, our SAT instructors have been tested with real SAT questions released by The College Board and must demonstrate their effectiveness at teaching the SAT to us as they would to a student. We also require each instructor to provide a list of references from past teaching positions and undergo a criminal background check.
How do we match students and instructors?
At AccuTutor, we're experts at matching outstanding instructors with students based on academic needs and teaching and learning styles. In addition, we work closely with each client to find an instructor who is conveniently located (increasing flexibility) and available on the best days and times.
